Birka Paradise

Birka Paradise

After the keel had been laid for Yard Number 442 in October 2003, Birka Paradise began cruising in November 2004. The snow-white cruise liner, constructed in Finland, mainly sails around Northern Europe.

Birka Paradise was renamed “Birka Stockholm” in 2013 and stands out for its maritime ambience. Some of the on-board highlights include a front cabin with panoramic windows, and a panoramic café on Deck 10 at the bow of the ship. This deck also features a relaxation and spa area with a pool. Other plus points include the many winding areas that are sheltered from the wind, which are particularly useful in Northern Europe, and the running track on the top deck.

In recent years, Birka Stockholm has been used for so-called “22-hour cruises” from Stockholm to Mariehamn on the Åland Islands and back.
