Hero of the Seas

The fourth cruise ship in the Icon Class will be launched in 2026 with delivery to follow in 2027.

Royal Caribbean International has commissioned Meyer Turku with the construction of four new ocean liners. The fourth ship in the Icon Class is being constructed in Finland and will be delivered in 2027.

The Icon Class ships are luxury liners with a tonnage of about 250,800 GT and enough room for around 7,600 passengers. Icon Class ships use Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as fuel. Icon class ships have the largest water parks at sea, including 7 swimming pools and 6 waterslides.

Mein Schiff 1

The new Mein Schiff 1 was built by MEYER TURKU in 2018, replacing the old cruise ship of the same name.

Mein Schiff 2

Mein Schiff 2 was delivered to TUI Cruises in 2019. It’s the successor of Mein Schiff 2, which was launched in 1997 and is now known as “Mein Schiff Herz”.

Mein Schiff 3

Mein Schiff 3 was the first of four structurally identical cruise ships that Meyer Turku built for TUI Cruises in Finland.

Mein Schiff 4

Mein Schiff 4 was the second new ship in the Blue Motion series built for TUI Cruises. The 294-metre-long cruise liner was delivered by MEYER TURKU in 2015.

Mein Schiff 5

Mein Schiff 5 was christened in 2016. It was the third cruise ship that Meyer Turku built for TUI Cruises.

Mein Schiff 6

Mein Schiff 6 was the fourth ship commissioned by TUI Cruises. The 295-metre-long cruise liner was christened in 2017.

Mein Schiff 7

Meyer Turku delivered Mein Schiff 7 to TUI Cruises in 2024. It’s structurally identical to Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2.

NB 1408 Icon 5

Icon 5 is the fifth Icon Class cruise ship currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard. Icon 5 is scheduled for delivery in 2028.

Star of the Seas

Meyer Turku delivered the second Icon Class cruise ship to Royal Caribbean International in 2025.
