Shipbuilding expertise since 1962

Meyer Turku’s Shipbuilding School has a long-standing tradition. Specialised in shipbuilding and training professionals for the industry, the school is one of the few company-maintained industrial schools remaining in Finland.

Since 1962

Since 1962, the Shipbuilding School has provided recruitment training for approximately 15,000 employees in Turku, initially at its premises along the Aurajoki river and subsequently at the Turku shipyard. Countless shipyard employees and representatives from maritime industry network companies have also participated in the Shipbuilding School’s professional upskilling and further education programmes.
