Meyer Turku Oy builds some of the world’s most modern and energy-efficient cruise ships, car ferries, and specialized vessels. Our share of the global cruise shipbuilding market is 17%, and our confirmed order book extends through 2028. Our largest customers include Royal Caribbean and the Finnish Border Guard.
Our turnover in 2025 was EUR 2.1 billion, and we employ more than 2,300 top professionals at the Turku Shipyard. Meyer Turku Oy’s subsidiaries include Piikkio Works Oy, a cabin factory located in Piikkiö; Shipbuilding Completion Oy, which provides turnkey deliveries for public spaces on ships; and ENG’nD Oy, a shipbuilding and offshore engineering company based in Rauma.
Ships have been built at the Turku shipyard since 1737. The annual production capacity of our modern shipyard is approximately 250,000 gross tons. The building dock (365 x 80 m) and the lifting capacity of Europe’s largest gantry cranes—1,200 and 600 tons—form the foundation that enables the construction of the world’s largest and most complex cruise ships.
